Meet our seasoned veteran and founder, Wayne, whose love affair with cars started in high school, fueled by his fascination with disassembling and reassembling various objects, including motherboards and radios. Learning from his father, a skilled technician with a background in radio repair during the Vietnam era, Wayne's childhood experimentation ignited a passion for mechanics. With formal training at Maxwell High School's automotive program and Gwinnett Tech, he embarked on his professional journey at Chris BMW in 1998, mastering BMW's complexities and becoming an ASE Master Tech. 


Wayne's expertise wasn't confined to work; outside, he engaged in daring motor swaps and engine experimentation. His innate comfort with cars led him to specialize in convertibles at BMW, establishing himself as a self-taught expert. In 2016, Wayne founded Lins Automotive, driven by his deep-seated connection to automobiles. 


Hailing from Norcross, GA, Wayne relishes the challenge and immersion of fixing cars, nurturing relationships, and celebrating the uniqueness of custom vehicles. His automotive history includes a motor-swapped '88 S10 and a cherished '70 Bel Air Wagon. His ongoing dream project involves building a distinctive domestic Station Wagon with a touch of the extraordinary.

Franco

Meet the visionary Franco, whose passion for cars ignited at 15 when he embarked on a journey with a 1955 Bel Air, marking the beginning of his lifelong automotive odyssey. Self-taught and driven, Franco dived into fixing his own car, delving into Hanes manuals to master valve adjustments and general maintenance. His path crossed with mentorship in 2000 through the street racing scene, when he met Wayne, solidifying his skills. A pivotal moment came with the acquisition of a home boasting a backyard mechanic's haven, where Franco and his mentor Wayne transformed dreams into reality, laying the foundation for Lins Automotive in 2016. 


Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Franco's fervor for cars lies in their customization and performance enhancement, fostering connections within the car community. His automotive repertoire includes a beloved 2019 Mercedes S63 AMG, while his dream continues to revolve around the timeless allure of a Ferrari 355 Gated Berlinetta.

Dragan

Meet our Shop Manager, Dragan, whose journey with cars began in 2017 when he ventured into car importing, sparking a career deeply intertwined with his automotive passion. Originating from Doboj, Bosnia, and later relocating to Germany, Dragan's multicultural background mirrors his eclectic love for cars. He finds exhilaration in speed and the art of modification, consistently striving to push vehicles to their limits. 


Among his notable cars is a cherished 1992 M3 E30 Wagon, a testament to his appreciation for unique and high-performance vehicles. However, Dragan's ultimate aspiration lies in a 1995 BMW 850 E31, reflecting his unwavering dedication to the world of automotive excellence.

Daniel

Meet our skilled mechanic, Daniel, whose passion for cars ignited at the age of 13 when he spent hours assisting his dad with their '71 Bronco. With a career spanning decades, Daniel's journey began at Kaufmann Tire in 2004, progressing to become an Infiniti Master Tech and ASE Master. He honed his expertise as a shop foreman at Subaru, specializing in diagnostics and earning certifications. 


Joining Lins in 2018, Daniel's commitment to solving automotive puzzles remains unwavering, rooted in his Georgia hometown of Dacula. His treasured '71 Bronco holds a special place in his heart, embodying both his earliest memories and lifelong dedication to the art of mechanics.

Vlad

Meet our skilled mechanic, Vlad, whose lifelong affinity for cars was nurtured by his mechanic father, leading to a cherished memory of him in an Audi with a lug nut wrench. Beginning his journey with Lins in 2017, he was trained under the guidance of Wayne Lins himself. Originating from St. Petersburg, Russia, Vlad's passion for cars transcends boundaries as they symbolize freedom and creativity, both in driving and maintenance. An avid enthusiast of drifting and competitive drifting, he finds his true thrill on the tracks. His automotive journey commenced with an '87 325e, while his heart belongs to his '98 328 M3 Clone in Ascot Green. However, his ultimate aspiration is embodied by the '11 E90 M3, a dream car that continues to fuel his unwavering dedication to the world of mechanics and performance.

Farick

Meet our accomplished Head Service writer, Farick, whose lifelong passion for cars began with a visit to his father's workplace at the GM plant in Doraville, immersing him in the automotive world from an early age. Fueling his curiosity, Farick dived into tinkering, starting with a Mitsubishi Mirage. His journey crossed paths with Franco through NOPI, leading to a vibrant career in the car industry, working on car shows, drifting events, drag racing, and even making a mark at SEMA. With a career spanning 38 states, Farick's experiences are as diverse as his expertise. 


In 2021, he joined the Lins team, bringing his Costa Rican roots to the mix. His automotive fascination lies in the transformation of cars into personalized masterpieces, stemming from his first car, a wood-paneled 1985 Cutlass Supreme Stationwagon. Farick's beloved 2013 Scion FRS captured his heart with its mechanical intricacies. As his dreams continue to evolve, they find form in the elegant contours of an Aston Martin 117, epitomizing his unwavering dedication to the world of automobiles.

Leo

Meet our accomplished mechanic, Leo, whose automotive journey commenced at 16 when a friend's E30 BMW sparked his unwavering fascination for BMWs. Determined to have his own, he embarked on a self-taught path of vehicle mastery. Guided by Wayne from 2017 onward, they collaborated on diverse projects, from food truck repairs to BMW swaps. Formal instruction began at Maxwell High School for Automotive, followed by 2 years at European Automotive Specialists and 3 years at Eurofed. Joining Lins in 2017, hailing from Aguascalientes, Mexico, Leo's passion for cars centers on their symphony of exhaust notes from a well-built car. His automotive history includes a cherished E30 1987 325e, but his heart beats loudest for his E36 S52 Swap race car. Leo's ultimate aspiration rests with a 2012 E90 335d transformed into a 700hp powerhouse, a testament to his unrelenting dedication to the art of performance.
